Discovery Time is a hit with all

We welcomed two new students to Room 9 this week.  Maxx and Mikaela have settled in well to our class and the students have been making them feel welcome.

Today they were introduced to Discovery Time and all the students were demonstrating wonderful social skills while they constructed and discovered!

Over the next few weeks we are concentrating on our Key Competency skill, "Thinking".  We will be thinking about what we are thinking!  Asking questions about our thinking, solving problems, explaining what we are thinking and using what we know to help us learn new things will be ways we can develop this skill.

  There was a lot of thinking and problem solving happening at discovery time on Friday!
