Week 2 in Room 9

It has been wonderful listening to the reports that have been prepared this week by our first news reporters.  We have learned about a range of current events from Nelson buildings being demolished, a dairy farm where you can milk the cows in The Glen, the Olympic Games and even the Presidency campaign in the USA.

We'll look forward to hearing the next lot of reports and don't forget that everyone gets a chance to share their own personal news every Friday.

We have been planting grasses in our school gardens to help attract native birds and other animals such as skinks and geckos.

Well done to our stars who received certificates today at Pohutukawa's Syndicate Assembly.

  1. Fantastic to see that Room 9 is doing such great work for the environment planting grasses. The school will also look very nice too!
